Why flysub

Captions people actually read

Built for vertical video: readable on a phone, in sync with the voice, and identical from preview to export.

Word-level timing

Every word has its own timecode, so captions follow the voice exactly, karaoke highlights included.

10 animated styles

Hormozi, Karaoke, Neon, Typewriter and more, plus your own presets, applied in one click.

A real editor

Fix a word, merge or split segments, highlight the word that matters, add emojis.

Safe zones for TikTok and Reels

TikTok and Instagram guides show up right in the editor: your captions never end up under the app interface.

Transparent export

Export the subtitles alone as a ProRes 4444 .MOV and overlay them in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.

Custom dictionary

Your proper nouns and brand names, always spelled right.

How it works

Three steps, not one more

1

Upload your video

Drop your file and pick the spoken language. Transcription starts right away.

2

Style your captions

Pick a style, fix a word, drop an emoji. The preview is the final render.

3

Export and publish

MP4 ready to post, or transparent MOV for your edit. The download starts on its own.

Subtitle questions

How do I add subtitles to a video?

Upload the video to flysub and choose the spoken language: the subtitles are generated word by word and synced to the voice. Pick a style, fix a word if needed, then export an MP4 with the subtitles burned in, or a transparent MOV to overlay in your editing software.

Subtitles or captions: what does flysub make?

Captions of what is said in the video, in the same language as the speech, burned into the image (MP4) or delivered as a transparent overlay (MOV). Translating subtitles into another language is not available.

Can I export an SRT file?

Not yet. flysub exports subtitles burned into the video (MP4) or as a transparent overlay (MOV ProRes 4444).

Which languages are supported?

Eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch and Arabic, plus automatic detection. The language you pick is enforced at transcription for maximum reliability.

What exactly counts as “one video”?

One video = one video transcribed and subtitled. The counter runs when the subtitles are generated, not at export: you can re-export the same video as many times as you want without using anything.

What is the maximum length per video?

3 min on the free trial, 3 min on Creator, 5 min on Pro and 15 min on Studio.

Will the final render really match the preview?

Yes, down to the pixel: the preview and the export are produced by the same rendering engine. What you see in the editor is exactly the file you download.

Is there a watermark?

Only on the free trial. Every paid plan exports without a watermark.
